In my mind, Zayne isn't the kind of guy who just dies and goes to hell based on the overwhelmingbad he has done, but he isn't the whoosh-now-he's-forgiven guy Darth Vader was.

Behold, Zayne, the Guardian Angel of the Wanderers. He's the dude who makes sure that god's will be done, or at least pertaining to the story's party. C'mon, who stopped Hero's blows from becoming mortal? Everyone needs a little help...

Zayne was forgiven enough to have his body returned to him, but I guess not enough for his threads to be repaired. If things go well, he might be forgiven enough to join the others when they go, and finally relax and chat with his newly resurected emotions.

I like his flaming sword...

I like the mixing of genres. A Cartoon to go along with your epilouge, that's talent.

Now this I didn't expect, but I suppose it's the unexpected surprises in life that end up being the most interesting, aye?

Not exactly what I originally had in mind, but Zayne is your character after all, so you're more than free to add a bit to his story, even though his story is within mine. I like the idea, as well; but there's certainly NO WAY he'd get into Heaven without any stipulations at all. Can't say your perspective is one I fully believe in, but you don't need to believe in something to appreciate it, as I do this drawing.

*Sigh* Zayne, you should know that if you would have made a move on Anika, she would have killed you long before Stephen would have even tried to.

No place in Heaven for a sinner;
No place in Hell for a hero.
A penitant heart will be hither
Brought there where saints finally go.

Well done.

Your description of Zayne's death moved me in a new way. I haven't really felt terrible and happy when someone dies in literature. Zayne finally did something for someone else, and he died for it. Kinda like Wolfwood. It didn't feel right that Zayne was damned, even if his evil was overwhelming. So now he makes up for it by watching over the Wanderers before they let him past the pearly gates.

"Aw, come on, you know she wanted me! I could tell by the way she burned everything in the room while she spoke to me. I don't know dragons, but that means they're feeling hot, right? Right?"

Is that last thing a poem, or did you make that up? I seriously just thought of those first two lines at random.

I just made the last past up; that would be too much of a coincidence for that to be real. I just thought it sounded like the beginning of a poem, so I had to finish it.

I guess I must be pretty decent at poetry if you thought that was real, huh?
